Eyede are thrilled to announce that we are the 35th Fastest growing company in New Zealand. We have experienced rapid growth over the past year. This has been achieved through our ongoing investment in our software solutions and card bureau that has resulted in our product offering to both new and existing customers continuing to expand.
Eyede would firstly like to thank our customers who are the reason we appeared on the Deloitte Fast 50 in 2010, without them this simply would not be possible. It is also our staff who share a vision and a passion for Eyede that enables us to continue to grow.
Along with the a few updates to our website, we have also released a few changes and improvements to eSOMS, Eyede’s secure online management system, v5.5.0:
- Webcam capture – take a photo and assign it to record directly through eSOMS. Compatible with all browsers.
- Updated image upload tool which now allows you to rotate images.
- Add to Checkout (bulk): added a summary screen showing number of records added to checkout as well as the breakdown of records which were not (missing image or uncropped image).
- Removed unused options from the record menu. It is now also dynamic and only displays applicable options based on record attributes. Improved usability for adding / removing records from Checkout.
- Advanced search (some of these were previously available, but have been updated):
- Search for all records which had their details updated within a certain date range.
- Search for records which had only their image updated within a certain date range (New).
- Search for records which have never been printed (New).
- Search for records currently in Checkout.
- Search for records which are currently in production (New).
- Search for records missing an image.
- Search for records with uncropped images (New).
- Order of records in the Records Listing: records edited by the users/CSV import will always appear at the top of the list.
- Updated record summary: cleaner look, more user-friendly alerts.
- Other minor usability changes.

So Eyede needed a couple of new run-arounds for both the Wellington and Auckland offices.
After much debating among the petrol heads in the team, common sense won and we now have two new Suzuki Swifts done out in Eyede livery.
We think they look pretty cool and they are just what we need to get around town.
Here are a couple of pictures taken of them on the Petone foreshore before one departed for it’s home in Auckland.
The time has come: our blog is now up and running on our new website.
Eyede are excited about providing our new and prospective customers with the ability to communicate with us online in a more dynamic way, as well as view our current solutions and be kept up to date with the new ones on the horizon. It is an exciting time for Eyede and we will keep you all in the loop.
We have also made a few other changes around the website:
- We now have search functionality across the whole website.
- What We Do page has been updated with some information about the Barcodes for libraries and asset labels. Scroll to the bottom to find PDF brochures and Order forms.
- Brochures, Order forms, Artwork requirements, User guides and other essentials can also be found on the updated Downloads page.
