eSOMS (Eyede Secure Online Management System)

Eyede has spent over 9 years developing eSOMS – a smart online software and card solutions product that has rapidly gained both regional and international recognition proving to be highly successful in enabling both public and private organisations to reduce the costs associated with issuing and managing a personalised physical credential, be it a membership card with rewards, licence, credit card or an integrated smart card.

eSOMS is a fully integrated credential management SaaS (Software as a Service) based product that is accessible 24/7 through a username & password from any secure Internet connection.

It operates out of a central database solution which provides customers with the functionality to upload data from existing excel spreadsheets, administration systems & access databases. Photos can also be uploaded in bulk resulting in a significant reduction in time when it comes to managing and ordering credentials through the database. It is currently used by over 750 customers and approximately 1500 users on a daily basis to manage their credentials and production of plastic cards.

Capture

The web interface collects and validates credential information and can automatically detect certified capture equipment such as cameras and signature pads attached to the workstation, enabling standard PC hardware and browsers to be used.

Manage

The management component of eSOMS has a configurable “rules” engine that can carry out functions, such as; Matching flies to card templates, validating information, address validation, duplicated detection, reporting, generation of unique card numbers and user management.

Deliver - Centralised Production

Eyede operates a state of the art credential issuance bureau. This highly secure centre is responsible for the production of many Government and corporate credentials and is accredited for Visa and MasterCard production. The facility is managed by the eSOMS production system. The eSOMS production module has a full audit function where randomly selected cards are removed from the production line and fully audited to ensure quality and accuracy against the audit sample.

Licence Management System - Fish & Game New Zealand

Eyede developed an online Licence Management System the objective of which was to provide Fish & Game authorized head office users, regions and customers with the functionality to access license holders’ data online in real time 24 hours a day 7 days a week via a secure internet connection.

The LMS enables effective management of all Fish & Game License holders’ data in a dynamic and user friendly way. It has been customised to match Fish & Game requirements and to streamline the manner in which licences are now to be sold. This has resulted in a centralized database solution with the flexibility and capability to be easily expanded on and diversified.

Whilst the function of having the ability for consumers to purchase licences online is important, Eyede recognises that it is the agent & licence book management modules within Eyede LMS that provide Fish & Game with the following benefits:

• Reducing the cost of managing license data capture, management, production and delivery by at least 40%.
• Reducing the time it takes to process requests from agents & retailers for new & replacement books by 50%.
• Provides Fish & Game with full control to manage their licencing solution internally using the Eyede LMS.

The system manages the financial calculations in a Head Office vs. Stores environment for settlement, for instance: 

• Debiting Stores for Loyalty earned and crediting Head Office
• Crediting Stores when Loyalty is redeemed and debiting Head Office
• Manage commissions or operating costs during settlements
• Loyalty is set-up within the system via campaigns. The campaign manager is an interactive graphical interface that allows an approved user to set-up the loyalty criteria and rules. 

Customer Loyalty may be configured in many ways, for instance:

• Spend $100 earn 5 pts or 1 reward dollar 
• Spend over $100 and get triple rewards dollars
• Buy product C and get 2 bonus dollars
• Visit store 4 times in May and earn a reward
• Visit store between 2 and 3 pm and receive a  free gift 
• Buy 2 of Brand X and get a free product
• Meet criteria X and receive a coupon
• Recognise a person’s birthday in store and reward instantly
